Vintage Church Chic

I haven't rocked my "thrifted finds" in a little while. This gorgeous dresss (thrifted from Goodwill, gave me "Sunday School Teacher" vibes. I paired this multicolored dress with a colorful-jeweled shoes that I upcycled a while back (click here to see post) .

I added a wide belt, envelope clutch & some red throwback frames . . .Viola! Sunday School is now in session! This look reminded me of the throwback church fashion! My favorite part of thrifting is being able to recreate a look that goes back Decades.

What if I told you, this entire outfit, including shoes, (excluding the bag), cost me under $30?

Yup! This entire outfit consisted of thrifted finds from last summer! I had a conversation with a client last week and explained the definition of Color Blocking , in the fashion realm. We looked at pictures to give her a better understanding. But, I thought that this was an awesome time to show her my personal Color Blocking ideas.

It's Spring, and absolutely fun to just grab colors, put them together and leave the house! The best part of this was adding my personal DIY Jeweled Pumps (click her to view the process of making the shoes). Since this outfit was worn on a Sunday morning to church, I toned down the look with a dark, matte, chocolate lip. But, this outfit, could've easily been paired with (LITERALLY) any bright lip color.
